25 March Conference Day 1	Welcome session: Keynotes and sessions on the dimensions of trust, the state of their implementation and plans for action, with audience interaction.
26 March Conference Day 2	FDO-related sessions with paper presentations, and panels (Motivation for FDOs, Interoperability for FDOs).
27 March Conference Day 3	FDO-related sessions with paper presentations, lightning talks, panel on FDO and security, summary and audience interaction.

Pre-Conference Training Day (24 March)

Separate registration is required. Limited to 50 people.

The conference begins with a Pre-Conference Training Day designed especially for newcomers to FAIR Digital Objects (FDOs). The training sessions will introduce: FDO specifications, FDO-related services, and FDO implementations (internet-based, web-based and nano-publication-based). There will also be a special introductory session providing a comprehensive overview of the FDO landscape and current developments.

Conference Day 1 (25 March)

The first day will start with a welcome session kicked off by J. Schneider (Rector of TUW) and C. Kirkpatrick (co-chair of the FDO Forum), followed by two keynotes from T. Hahn (President BDVA) and C. Stöver (CCO GEANT) on their views on the state of data exchange and reuse.

Sessions will explore:

Key dimensions of trust in data ecosystems
Dataspace architectures and the role of FAIR Digital Objects
Concrete actions and future directions

The programme includes contributions from representatives of government, research infrastructures, international organisations, and industry.

Conference Day 2 (26 March)

Day 2 focuses on applications and implementation of FAIR Digital Objects, starting with a keynote by Sanzio Bassini, Director of the SuperComputing Applications and Innovation Department at CINECA.

Panels address:

“Motivation for FDOs” organised by L. Biven (Jefferson Lab);
“FDO Interoperability” organised by R. Hanisch (former NIST);
“Security and FDOs” organised by C. Blanchi (DONA) and P. Wittenburg (FDOF).

Conference Day 3 (27 March)

On the final day, there will be more FDO-related sessions, including presentations, lightning talks and posters. There will also be a panel discussion on security and FAIR Digital Objects. The conference will conclude with a summary session and an interactive discussion with participants.

As with previous FDO conferences in Leiden and Berlin, the program offers plenty of opportunities for discussion and interaction between participants from academia, industry and public organisations.
